How is laser removal performed?
Brief light pulses are delivered to the vein through the skin’s surface.  They are absorbed by hemoglobin (the substance that gives blood the reddish purple color) and converted into heat.  This heat causes the walls of the vein to collapse which, stop blood flow. Once this happens, the veins slowly absorbed into the body, disappearing from sight.

How long does the procedure take?
The amount of time varies from fifteen minutes to one hour, depending on the size of the area being treated, as well as the severity of the problem. Usually, more than one treatment may be needed to achieve the desired results.

How much pain is there?
You are likely to experience mild discomfort similar to having a small rubber band snapping against skin. Treatments usually do not require sedatives, pain medications, or injections of local anesthetic.

What can I expect after the procedure?
If enough damage is done to the walls of these tiny veins, the circulatory system will not be able to repair it, and there will be complete disappearance. The dynamic cooling device protects the skin from injury, as well as reduces discomfort. Side effects are few but may include redness, swelling or mild pain at the site for a few days.

How many treatments needed?
An average of three treatments will be required at three-month intervals to produce desired results. Often, spider veins on the cheeks and nose are cleared in just 1 treatment. After each treatment, you will see a 70% to 80% improvement in the appearance of face spider veins and 30-40% improvement in leg spider veins.
