How VelaShape III® Works
VelaShape III® is the first FDA-approved non-invasive medical device
for circumferential fat reduction and cellulite reduction.* This procedure
combines heat in the form of radio frequency and infrared light with a
vacuum and specially designed rollers. The infrared light targets more
superficially and is increased for cellulite reduction treatments, heating
the tissue down to the dermis, up to about 5mm in depth. Higher levels
of radio frequency are used for circumferential reduction, heating the
tissue down to the subcutis layer from 2-20mm in depth. Working simultaneously
with the heat, a vacuum and specially designed rollers manipulate and
smooth out the skin enabling precise targeting of energy to the tissue,
safely and efficiently. This procedure increases the metabolism of stored
energy in the body and lymphatic drainage and reduces the size of the
actual fat chamber.*
